Administrative Assistant

3S Services, LLC is a growing oilfield company looking for an experienced Field Clerk to join our team. This position will be based out of our Carrizo Springs, TX location. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be local to the Carrizo Springs, TX area.

The titled position referenced above will play an important role in the day to day operations of field projects, on-going and future. This position will work closely with the Office Manager and Purchase Order Administrator. This position’s tasks are computer intensive and it will be necessary to possess strong computer skills to execute work efficiently. Relevant duties will include but are not limited to:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Issuing and Closing Purchase Orders (POs) for material, subcontractors, safety supplies, etc.
  • Ensure POs are issued in a timely manner to avoid delays in project execution, as well as making sure POs are processed (Closed Out) in an equally timely manner to avoid late or past due payments.
  • Assist in project reporting to the customer at required intervals (daily, weekly, etc.) while the project is on-going.
  • Adhere to a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provided by the customer or 3S Management for proper report formatting and submittal.
  • Required to submit all reports and supporting documentation by the required deadline established in the SOP.
  • Provide administrative support on various projects
  • Assist field operations with the completion of daily time sheets
  • Verify the accuracy and perform quality checks of various payroll, production, and billing information.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry or General Construction.
  • Proficiency in using Outlook (E-mail), attaching files, forwarding, writing and responding in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to learn new on-line operating systems required to perform the tasks associated with the job.
  • Possess good organizational skills and self-motivated.

Backhoe/ Trackhoe/ Blade Operator

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. The Backhoe/ Trackhoe/ Blade Operator will report directly to the Foreman, Spread Boss, Pusher, or Field Supervisor depending on the region and division which they are assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain and build upon the company culture for industry leading safety programs
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections on equipment before operating
  • Keep equipment clean and free of trash
  • Ensure equipment is safely secured and stored.

Position Summary:

Drive trucks with up to 18 wheeler capacity, to transport equipment/materials to and from specified destinations. Other duties may be assigned based on based on business needs of the region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure truck is loaded properly
  • Responsible for weight of shipment
  • Responsible for vehicle maintenance, security and keeping vehicle clean

Civil Engineer (Arlington, TX)

Position Summary:

  • Knowledge of Industry design codes especially AISC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, and BS
  • Be fully conversant with seismic and environmental analysis theory design fundamentals and construction methodology
  • Understand above ground installation (AGI) designs covering launcher and receiver stations and block valve stations (BVS)
  • Direct the development of and review all civil and structural design drawings; including site specific designs, layouts, and typical details

Electrical CAD Operator

Position Summary:

We are looking to fill this position in the Midland, TX area. The Electrical CAD Operator operates CAD system and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and government drafting standards.
  • Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.

Electrician

Position Summary:

This job installs, repairs wiring, maintains and upgrades electrical systems, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties. This job description may be revised as needed.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Builds meter skids
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
  • Pulls wiring through conduit.
  • Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
  • Terminates wiring at lighting fixtures, control boxes, connectors, and power equipment.
  • Installs controls, monitoring and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, sensors, control boxes and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric motors or heaters, and installs grounding leads.
  • Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
  • Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • Disassembles faulty electrical equipment, replaces defective or damaged components and re-assembles equipment.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous quality work in construction or fence installation as a FOREMAN, LEAD, or relevant experience 3-5+ years in preferred

HSE Director

Position Summary:

HSE Director will be responsible for management of all safety compliance issues related to OSHA, federal, state and local, and for the execution of the environmental program. This position will possess a high level of authority in regard to training & guiding employees based on safety needs with the goal of eliminating workplace accidents/injuries/illnesses, reducing work related injury costs, and complying with all environmental, safety and health laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Environmental Health and Safety (HSE) programs including, but not limited to, hazard identification, evaluation and control, accident/injury prevention, hazardous materials/waste management, emergency preparedness, fire/life safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene and environmental regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, coordinate and enforce programs to achieve and maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, local codes and regulations.
  • Coordinates HSE systems and programs to reduce the risk of injuries or losses and to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Perform needs assessments and root cause investigations. Lead investigations of accidents and injuries
  • Participate in compliance audits taking proactive measures to remediate all adverse HSE conditions.
  • Participates in air permitting, waste management program and environmental procedures development
  • Coordinate hazard communication program regarding SDS maintenance, hazardous chemicals and other substances.
  • Work with facilities management to maintain compliance with all environmental regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals as well as company standards and procedures.
  • Provides HSE support for training and employee awareness.
  • Oversees new hire training and the timely training of employees to meet state and federal requirements.
  • Maintain all records and documents necessary to support compliance and training activities.

I&E Designer

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill this position in the Midland and Arlington, TX areas. The I&E Designer performs instrumentation and electrical design duties for projects in the oil and gas industry. The I&E Designer also works with other engineering disciplines to: create instrumentation and electrical drawings packages for construction

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of 3S Services HSE policies.
  • Read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Work with AutoCAD design software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Work with vendors to review the installation requirements for the different pieces of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to do electrical system walk downs and create as-built drawings.
  • Create electrical construction drawings such as: one-line diagrams, motor circuit diagrams, grounding plans, conduit plans, interconnection diagrams, and area classification plans.
  • Be able to create conduit and cable schedules which require the knowledge of the NEC Code in regards cable sizing and conduit fill.
  • Design PLC panel layouts, wiring, and bill of materials.
  • Enhances 3S Services reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the job accomplishments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of design experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Multi-skilled position responsible for performing preventive and general maintenance and technical repair

Pipeline Operator

Position Summary:

The Pipeline Operator performs terminal and station operations with both inside and outside responsibilities. This is a 7 on and 7 off rotation, located in the Orla/ Menton, Texas area. Camp housing will be provided during the 7 days off.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and executes crude oil delivery to appropriate pipelines or tankage.
  • Performs measurement analysis to determine crude oil API gravity and sediment and water percentage.
  • Monitors operational data during crude oil movements and takes appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Ensures safety and protection of the environment for activities performed by terminal maintenance, inspection, and crude oil washing activities.
